About CAL-SP
CAL-SP is a nationwide initiative to identify, train, and empower India's next generation of climate leaders. The programme covers Classes 8 to Graduate & Above across 4 structured assessment tracks. CAL-SP addresses India's triple crisis: climate emergency (3.5% GDP lost to disasters annually), employability gap (1.2M renewable energy vacancies), and leadership vacuum (63% ESG talent shortage). Aligned with NEP 2020, Mission LiFE, Viksit Bharat 2047, and India's Net Zero 2070 roadmap.
Four Assessment Tracks
- Climate Explorer Track (Classes 8-10) — Rs 1,000 + GST — Climate awareness, environmental science, and early leadership development
- Climate Policy Scout Track (Classes 11-12) — Rs 1,000 + GST — Policy analysis, civic engagement, and governance exposure
- Climate Action Practitioner Track (Undergraduate) — Rs 1,200 + GST — Practical innovation, district-level Action Dossier development
- Climate Governance & ESG Track (Graduate & Above) — Rs 1,200 + GST — Advanced climate policy, ESG frameworks, and green economy leadership
Participation fees are institutional-based, processed through campus partnerships. Individual fee payment is not required.

The Grand Finale where India's top 120 climate leaders from schools, colleges, and universities present their climate solutions. Features 6 high-level leadership sessions, national recognition ceremony, and a National Youth Climate Dossier tabled to MPs, MLAs, and policymakers.
